How do you identify a plant you’ve never seen before?

Is it native or a weed? Should you protect it or pull it out? It’s difficult right?

When you work in biosecurity it’s essential to get this right!

Scientific artist Rachel Klyve has partnered with NSW Department of Primary Industries Biosecurity to develop forty digital 3D weeds.

The models are being used in statewide training of biosecurity officers, improving the identification and early intervention of high-risk weed species helping to protect the environment and agriculture.

Like what you see?

Digital 3D plants can help you identify weeds in the field!

Let me show you how.

Here’s how it works:

STEP 1:

Book a Consultation

I’ll ask you questions about your project and help you clarify what your goals are. We’ll discover if digital 3D, or other visual resources, can assist you to achieve those goals within your schedule and budget. We’ll talk about I.P and copyright. Then I’ll send you a quote and we’ll go from there.

STEP 2:

Creation and Collaboration

The process of making the digital 3D models is partially collaborative. Your resources and expertise are essential for me to achieve accuracy. I do all the 3D magic and you, or experts of your choice, will check the models at several pivotal stages along the way until they are complete.

STEP 3:

Put Your Models to Work!

I’ll help you integrate the finished models into your program and support you through the implementation phase. Then your staff, students, and stakeholders will have absorbing and accessible resources to use, whenever they need them, improving their chances of fulfilling your project’s goals.
