Hi! I’m Rachel Klyve.

I’ve been fascinated by nature, science, and art, since my childhood on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. I’ve worked as a sailing guide on ocean-going tall-ships, been a Registered Nurse specialising in paediatrics, and have walked over 3000 km on long-distance trekking routes in Japan, Europe and Australia.

But it wasn’t until I joined the University of Newcastle’s Bachelor of Natural History Illustration that I knew I’d found the perfect way of combining my interests and using my skills to make a contribution to the world.

I love partnering with people who have challenging projects. It’s a thrill to find the best way to depict plants and animals to enhance the message people are telling or helps them fulfill their project goals.

I‘d love to hear about your project and help you make it a success.
